As far as relations of Germany and Holland are concerned the very same day on which Baron von Kuhlmann became the German minister at The Hague, the first number of a new weekly with confessedly pro-German sympathies made its appearance. It appealed for support to all those readers in Holland who were dissatisfied with the hostile attitude of the majority of the Dutch press towards their German neighbors.
