Abstract
- The article reports that Melissa Griffin, a PhD student at Deakin University, presented on the progress of her research into what drives aggregations of insects for mating and how this relates to "harem polygyny" as observed in mammals. It mentions that the basic definition of harem polygyny is a mating system where one male is associated with a group of females. Most often he is the only male.
