Abstract
- The article discusses the influence of reservoir water levels on the protective performance of concrete gravity dams subjected to underwater explosions. It mentions the localized damage to the dam head decreases significantly at the dead water level. It discusses the authors arguments against the necessity of lowering the reservoir water level when a dam is under threat of war.
