Abstract

Highlights from the article: The use of Magnetic Resonance (MR) has been proposed as problem solving in case of indeterminate masses at ultrasound (US) for the detection of ovarian cancer. The aim of the present study was to investigate the costs of a diagnostic workup using MR when IOTA SR are applied. All the adnexal masses were classified according to IOTA SR in benign, malignant or indeterminate masses, when IOTA SR were not applicable.
