Abstract
- The author reflects on the perspectives of older adults, informal dementia caregivers, nurses and physicians of dementia patients on medical assistance in dying (MAID) given to patients with terminal stage of dementia. Other topics include a study showing that more than 90% of respondents in Canada support MAID, and the effect/s of the study to the position of non-governmental organizations like the Alzheimer Society of Canada (ASC) on the issue.
