Abstract

The article presents a case study of 88 year old patient with hypersensitivity reactions to iodinated contrast media (ICM) with acute exanthema, temperature and intraepidermal pustule with numerous polymorphonuclear cells. Patch test confirmed acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), hence coronary stenting and endovascular valvuloplasty, including ICM administration of iopromide and oral prednisone was recommended.
