Abstract
- The article features LA County Library in Los Angeles, California, the 2019 Gale/Library Journal (LJ) of the Year. Topics discussed include remarks from its director, Skye Patrick, who was named LJ's Librarian of the Year; the launch of the iCount program by the library beginning in 2017; and background on the establishment of the library in 1912. The partnerships of the library staff with every county agency, along with private institutions and firms are also mentioned.
