Abstract
- The article presents a discussion between South Asian Canadian women writers Sharanpal Ruprai and Sheniz Janmohamed who are both passionate about mentoring the next wave of writers. Topics discussed include the reflections on reading literature by South Asian writers, the structural impediments of mentorship, and the need of literary representations of themselves and their lives as a way of mentorship and as a way of leadership.
