Abstract

Building carbon emissions were a major component of Chinese carbon emissions. There were significant differences in building carbon emissions between regions in different provinces and regions of China. This paper used the macro-calculation method based on the energy statistics yearbook to measure the construction carbon emissions of 30 provinces and cities in China, then divided the 30 provinces in China and analyzed the differences between their construction carbon emissions based on the correlation of 30 provinces, according to "Total emissions - efficiency". The corresponding indicators used cluster analysis to divide 30 provinces into four regions, namely high-emission and high-efficiency areas, high-emission and low-efficiency areas, low-emission and high-efficiency areas, and low-emission and low-efficiency areas. According to the results of the division, the difference between the regions and the regions was analyzed by the method of the Theil index. It was concluded that the differences in building carbon emissions between different regions in China mainly come from the differences between regions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
