Abstract

The recent decision of the United States Supreme Court, declaring the minimum wage law of the District of Columbia unconstitutional and imperiling the minimum wage laws of the several States, has brought sharply to the attention of the country the increasing power of the Supreme Court over national and State legislation. A storm of protest has followed the minimum wage decision and a number of plans have been suggested for limiting the power of the Supreme Court to declare laws unconstitutional.
