Abstract
- This article presents information on the visit of British writer Bertrand Russell to the U.S. But Bertrand Russell is not specifically English or a lecturer. He is not only one of the great philosophers; he is also one of the keenest social thinkers and one of the most eminent internationalists living, and his internationalism rests upon the surest of all foundations: a steadfast record of pacifism during the first World War. During his stay in the U.S. Bertrand Russell has contributed a lot to writings through the columns of The Nation, and it is hoped that many of the readers will be able to hear him in person during his stay in the United States.
