Abstract
- Presents a study concerning the recommendations for the nomenclature of tetrapyrroles. Basis for the development of a semisystematic tetrapyrrole nomenclature on few trivial names selected mainly from the Fischer system; Establishment of international rules for naming organic compounds and natural products; Designation given to compounds closely related to the trivially named porphyrins of Rule TP-2.
