Abstract
- The article focuses on study on effects of U.S. and New Zealand Angus germplasm on characteristics of crossbred calves. Topics discussed include preweaning and postweaning growth rates were similar for calves of the U.S. and New Zealand paternity, animals have undergone natural selection for reproduction and survival and artificial selection and differences attributable to sire paternity in blood concentration at birth.
