Abstract

The article focuses on the negative impact of noncompliance (NC) and leaving against medical advice (LAMA) on the hospital mortality and health of the patients. It talks about the clinical management involved in NC patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). It tells about NC being higher in Hispanic and black young male patients with AMI who belong to the lower income group.
