Abstract

The article offers information on prevalence of atopic eczema among patients seen in primary care as per the data from the health improvement network. Topics discussed include rates of active atopic eczema increase with age among adults in primary care, addressing a gap in evidence about the epidemiology of this condition after childhood and atopic eczema is known to substantially affect emotional and physical aspects of health-related quality of life.
