Abstract
- The article focuses on the number four as a typological number, vis-a-vis the number of elements and the number of chapters, surfaces in two other spheres of the narrative and they are in the four languages the characters speak: Arabic, Italian, German, and English, and in their nationalities: Libyan, Italian, German, and British. It states that the hermeneutic process of Benghazi—Bergen-Belsen proposed in this article includes two perspectives of languages and Nationality.
