Abstract
- The article presents a case study of a 33-year-old man with a history of severe atopic dermatitis (AD) who had developed erythema and scalp scaling linked to accelerated hair loss. Examination showed diffuse alopecia of the scalp, epidermal hyperplasia with interpapillary crest elongation, spongiosis with lymphocyte exocytosis, parakeratosis, and isolated apoptotic cells. The patient continued to use dupilumab and topical mometasone 0.1% which improved the erythema and started hair regrowth.
