The article deals with interconnection of an environment and a man on the example of childhood and adolescence of Danylo Savich Tuptalo, Enlightener Dymytrii. The landscape is a multifaceted term; it is illustrated in the article and therefore it has got this title. In this paper we will trace the broad geography of the life of the saint and see how, on the one hand, the environment – both social and natural – influenced the formation of his personality, helped to choose monasticism and service to God and people, and on the other, how his life and activity influenced the development of significant recreational and tourist resources, in particular religious tourism.
