Abstract

The article focuses on the political rebellion is widespread and is reaching proportions which exceed the customary preelection grumbling of agrarian elements. The conference adopted a platform of its own, intending to urge it upon the various candidates for Congress to whom it expects to give substantial aid in the fall campaign. The League's platform affirms the solidarity of the League with the worker and farmer and declares for direct federal unemployment relief. From the beginning, the League itself has not been a political party, nor has it ever intended to become one.
