The Italy of Tomorrow.

This article presents information about two books. The book "The Remaking of Italy" has as many parts as it has authors. It opens with a bird's-eye view of Italian history, certainly useful for the layman and perhaps of some use even to the cognoscenti. The next two chapters picture Italy's relations with Germany and with England, playing an unhappy couple against a happy one. It also presents a brief history of Fascism. Apart from a few inaccuracies and some sensationalism, it is excellent reporting. The pompously vulpine character of the regime is brought into proper focus.
