Abstract

The article discusses the culture, customs and threats facing the Huli people in Papua New Guinea. Topics discussed include the behavior, language and organization of the Huli people who lives in the Tari Basin in Southern Highlands, the importance of wigs in Huli culture, and the exploitation of the natural resources of the Huli tribe including their forests and liquefied natural gas (LNG).
