Abstract

An editorial is presented protesting the decision of the U.S. government withdrawing funding from the East Jerusalem Hospital Network (EJHN). They state the U.S. government is withdrawing up to 25 million dollars in funding from the EJHN which is comprised of six institutions and which the World Health Organization describes as the primary provider of tertiary referral care for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and West Bank. They comment the withdrawal of support will only result in harm accruing.
