Abstract

The article focuses on a study which aims to examine the influence of anthropogenic enhancement of moderate-to-strong El Niño weather event on drought as well as poor harvests in southern Africa during 2016. It highlights observational uncertainties using four datasets such as ERSSTv4, HadISST, Kaplan SST, and Hurrell.
