Abstract

The article focuses on the challenges in the nursing profession. In developing communities where needs may vary greatly the basic responsibility of the nurse is intensified and becomes more urgent, because any nation can only move forward on the health and well being of its people. These are the backbone and the life blood of any nation. Nurses in developing countries, therefore, have a dynamic role to play in the future progress of their countries since nursing cannot afford to isolate itself from the special needs and the real and compulsive circumstances of the community it serves.
