Abstract

This article focuses on the peace situations as viewed by the Russians and by a group of Britishers after a too brief stay in the Soviet Union. In a crowded fortnight there was a good opportunity of sightseeing and frank conversations with representative persons on the problems of peace. According to the representatives, in Moscow, Leningrad, and Kiev there are historic places, secular and religious, and the priceless art treasures of the Russian past, all of which the Soviet government is maintaining and restoring with infinite care and plentiful funds.
