Abstract

The author reflects on her journal as a woman with albinism and implications for professional practice. The author preferred not to share her visual challenges with potential employers or romantic partners. It is said that educators should create opportunities for students to interact with peers who are sighted and those who are visually impaired. The author mentioned the road race called the Vision 5K where she won medals and trophies.
