Abstract

Presents several test methods used to evaluate the static stability of self-consolidating concrete (SCC) to ensure the uniform properties of the hardened material. Focus on the assessment for surface settlement, aggregate segregation and monitoring electrical conductivity changes; Investigation of sixteen SCC mixtures designed to provide specified slump flow values; Suitability of the methods for acquiring the stability over the dormant period, establishment of the coarse agrregate distribution and monitor the stability of mortar.
