A CONSIDERATION REGARDING THE REHABILITATION WORKS IN LAND IMPROVEMENT ARRANGEMENTS IN WESTERN PART ROMANIA. CASE STUDY: TEBA - TIMISAT HYDROAMELIORATIVE ARRANGEMENT.

The proposed paper presents the situation of the Teba-Timisat hydroameliorative arrangement located in the western part of Romania. Teba-Timisat hydroameliorative arrangement was realized in 1962 and the completion of the land improvement works in this arrangement was executed between 1985 and 1987. Since the execution, a series of rehabilitation works have been carried out, due to changes in agricultural practices in the area affected by climate change. This research assesses the state of the art as well as its functional characteristics, taking into account the possibility of accessing budget funds for the rehabilitation of technologically degraded or degraded components, based on sustainable development and environmental protection. Farmers need to get a better crop yield, but also the current legal framework, make this subject a topical subject. The purpose of the paper is to synthesize the design works and to identify the critical points in which intervention is required, from public or private funds. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
