Strategies for maintaining an effective board.

The article looks at strategies for maintaining an effective board governance for not-for-profit organizations. Of particular interest is given to the three key governance areas of a not-for-profit, including recruitment of board members, training those board members, and retaining and keeping them engaged throughout their tenure. The importance of technology expertise in board members is discussed.
