When trying to delve into the particular study of the rules in force that regulate the institution called cohabitation in countries like Mexico or as marital unions de facto in other countries, it is very interesting to know the international regulations that are accepted as the guiding framework of all rights, in different countries of the world. The present article intends to reveal the state of unprotection that in the international scope is verified to the rights of the concubines and therefore the need to unify regulatory legal criteria of these unions from the international scope.
