Abstract
- Presents the expansion on biofilm barrier technology by examining the feasibility of using biofilm barrier to not only control contaminant migration through permeability reduction but also facilitate contaminant biodegradation. Alternative to traditional subsurface barrier technologies; Major concern on the increased of production and the presence of groundwater; Use in a funnel and gate type technology.
