Abstract: This article discusses the spinoff of the television program "Friends" called "Joey" starring former "Friends" actor, Matt LeBlanc. NBC's Friends spinoff Joey may well end up being the most scrutinized new show this fall. And the early word is…good. The network was confident enough in the series, which stars Matt LeBlanc and Drea de Matteo, that it screened the entire pilot for media insiders in New York City on May 17. The show received a round of applause and high marks for its acting. De Matteo, whacked from her role as "The Sopranos'" Adriana La Cerva on the May 23 episode, already feels at ease with her new cast.
