President's message. Being a catalyst.

The author discusses the role of the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada (SRPC) as a catalyst that promotes excellent care close to home for Canada's rural population. Members of SRPC work at the coal face of rural health care. They have worked with several medical organizations since 1992 to promote and improve health care, including the College of Family Physicians of Canada. They produced the joint position paper on rural surgery and operative delivery.
