Abstract: The article offers information about the mercy pleas through the real story of Sharanda Jones who was leader of conspiracy of drug dealing. Topics include reduction in her sentence to 16 years by former American president Barack Obama and of thousand others; clemency power of the U.S. constitution used by the President; and views of author towards development of general analysis of mercy which applied on pardons and lenient sentences.
