Abstract

This article presents portrayal sketch of senator Thomas J. Dodd. He is a junior senator from Connecticut. In the lexicon of American politics, he can be classified as neither liberal nor conservative. He seems, to be an incongruous mixture of both. His views are those of the Americans for Democratic Action. He has questioned the worth of the United Nations. Yet he remains a member, and was formerly Connecticut state chairman, of United World Federalists. He loudly proclaims the virtues of American freedom simultaneously.
