Is it Worth Applying for a Rescue Plan? A PSM Analysis for European SMEs.

The article discusses a study which examined the potential benefits of the rescue plan for a company facing difficulties at the European level. Roughly 99 percent of economic activity is attributed to small- and medium-sized enterprises in the European Union which makes them an important player in the region's economy. Small companies from the Amadeus database covering the period 2006-2015 were examined using empirical analysis.
