A Nice Little Revolution.

This article focuses on the student activism in New Paltz, New York. The college students in New Paltz organized a parade-demonstration to stop the military campus recruiting. The demonstration was also organized in opposition to the Vietnam War. The demonstration ended with heavy arrests. On the whole, though, the uprising accomplished quite a bit. The State University conceded the big point that henceforth the students at New Paltz shall have a major voice in the policy decisions of the college including the hiring and firing of faculty. Not bad for a minor revolution.
