Abstract: The article discusses the technological advances in respiratory protection for workers exposed in silica and opioid in the workplace. It highlights the new OSHA silica standard, the hazards from opioid epidemics, and the safety of new technology. The new workplace safety technology includes gas detectors, flame-resistant clothing, and air quality monitors.
