Extreme exigency in the extremity: an illustrative case of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma occurring in the arm.

The article presents a case study of a 31-year-old man who was presented with progressive swelling of the left forearm. Topics discussed include the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) performed on the patient; the fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG)-avid left forearm soft tissue mass revealed in positron emission tomography; and the diagnosis of a diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in the patient. Also mentioned are the drugs used for the patient's treatment, including rituximab and doxorubicin.
