Abstract
- In this paper, a modified phenolic-nitrile-butadiene rubber heat-cured adhesive was studied. Its adhesive properties to rubber and metal, and its adhesive properties were characterized by peel strength. Self-made modified phenolic resin in the laboratory, using phenol and formaldehyde as raw materials, using ammonia as catalyst, synthesizes a thermosetting high methylol resol resin under alkaline conditions. After the reaction is completed, polyvinyl butyral is added to modify the phenolic resin to synthesize a grafted or block copolymer, thereby changing the brittleness of the phenolic resin and improving the toughness. The self-made modified phenolic resin is mixed well with the kneaded nitrile rubber and other auxiliary agents to obtain a modified phenolic resin-butyronitrile heat vulcanized adhesive. And characterize the bonding performance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
