The Issue of Leadership Formation and Development Within Interdisciplinary Approach.

Abstract
- In the given paper it is considered in detail the issue of leadership formation and development within an interdisciplinary approach. It has been studied the works of such famous researchers, philosophers, historians, psychologists, economists as T.Carlyle, F.Galton, R.Emerson, F.Woods, G.Tarde, F.Nietzsche, N.Mihailovsky, C.Graeff, B.Bass, W.Blank, J.Miner, R.Tannenbaum, F.Fiedler, G. Yukl, R.Dilts, B.Simonton, R.Goff, G.Jones, D. Van Dierendonck, M.Platow, J.Turner et al., as well as modern experts in this field. It has been defined the leader traits and peculiarities of its formation in terms of various leadership theories from ancient times till nowadays. The research is devoted to the systematization of the knowledge of the leadership in the context of three main research dimensions: psychology, business economics, and project management. It has been specified the peculiarities of leader's formation on the psychological level as a background one. It has been considered the impact of the economic system on the formation of leadership traits. It is presented the result of contemporary research devoted to business leadership identifying what contemporary features and characteristics a business leader must have. Finally, it has been studied the concept of leadership from the project management perspective and talent triangle, defying key features and competencies of a contemporary and highly effective leader. The research results have proven that leadership is a very comprehensive phenomenon that should be viewed interdisciplinary, creating a complex understanding and a research platform for further detailed exploring perspectives.
