Numerical Study of a Passive Scalar Transport in Lower Atmosphere Layer from Thermal Power Plants.

Today, the study of the distribution of emissions in the atmosphere is quite an urgent task, because harmful substances, getting into the surrounding atmosphere, cause harm to the health of people, flora and fauna. In this paper, the results of simulation of the distribution of emissions from the Ekibastuz TPP (GRES 1) are presented. For simulations the model of turbulence was chosen. Simulations were performed by using the ANSYS 16.0 software package. Previously, the model and numerical algorithm were tested using a model problem and the results were compared with the experimental data. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
