Abstract
- Abstract: Who writes about Aboriginal people, and what effect that has upon Aboriginal people and the national narrative about Aboriginal people are explored in this paper, which is comprised of key excerpts from an awardâwinning longer essay I have written. While we are all collectively the inheritors and generators of the country's psyche and national narrative, the absence of recognition has effectively silenced Aboriginal people from contributing their own story to this narrative.
