Abstract
- The electron structure features in the high‐temperature cubic perovskite‐like ferrite La<subscript>1−x</subscript>Sr<subscript>x</subscript>FeO<subscript>3−δ</subscript> are studied depending on concentration of disordered cation and anion defects by use of the Coherent Potential Approximatiom (CPA) taking into account the strong electronic correlations (U) in Fe d‐shell. The variations of electronic‐energy and magnetic characteristics are described at 0 ≤ δ ≤ 0.25 and 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.50. The spin state of iron atoms in stoichiometric δ = 0 compositions is shown to change near x = 0.4, which gives an explanation to the observed experimental data. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
