Abstract
- The article discusses the published literature about the use of chemoprevention as a secondary prevention measure for nonmelanoma skin cancer (NSC), and presents data on chemoprevention in transplant patients. Topics mentioned include the studies regarding the efficacy of chemoprevention agents such as nicotinamide and retinoids, the investigational treatment strategies including photodynamic therapy and photolyase, and the link between chronic immunosuppression and NSC.
