Abstract: The article presents information on several developments related to respiratory disorder. It states that a course titled "Pharmacology of Asthma," organized by physician Peter Barnes will be held at the Imperial College School of Medicine at the National Heart & Lung Institute in collaboration with the Royal Brompton Hospital, Doverhouse Street, London, England. A conference on Respiratory Medicine will be held at the Royal College of Physician of Edinburgh, Scotland, on October 26, 2001. H.M. Foreman Memorial Fund has been able to fund two medical student projects in August 2001 and September 2001, one on tuberculosis in Malaysia and one on Ghana.
