Abstract

The author reflects on the emergence and advancement of agile processes like test-driven development (TDD), as of June 2018. Topics discussed include some benefits of TDD in software design that facilitate the work of software engineers, the need to conduct more research on TDD tests, and the importance of teaching agile processes to general software engineering students.
