Abstract

Examines the temperature induced blue shift of the intersubband absorption peak in GaAs/Al0.3Ga0.7As multiple quantum wells. Calculation as a function of well thickness; Domination of the blue shift by the barrier height; Importance of exchange interactions for well thickness; Reduction of the photocurrent spectrum.
