Abstract
- The article focuses on decision of Bangladesh High Court's decision of dismissal and discusses the substance of the petition before ultimately proffering a prediction. Topics discussed include history of secularism in the region of Bengal, India as birth of Bangladesh as a secular nation, how Islam became the state religion, thereby supplanting the principle of secularism and merits of the writ petition and analyzes the legal arguments of its position.
