Abstract
- The article focuses on update in the field of sports medicine from August 2016 through October 2017. Topics discussed include Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction remains the standard treatment for active individuals after ACL disruption, presence of a symptomatic meniscal tear for arthroscopic knee surgical procedures and hip arthroscopy continues to be an expanding area of sports medicine and clinical outcomes. It also mentions sports-related concussions for public interest.
